India’s COVID-19 reached 6.48.315 cases, with the largest increase of 22.771 on a single day, according to recent data from the Minister of Health Union. During the period, the country also experienced 442 deaths, taking the total count to 18,655. The retrieval figure is 3,94,227. The rate of recovery has increased to 60.80%. There are currently 2,35,433 active coronavirus cases in the country. There are also foreigners in the number of confirmed cases.

1. With over 1,92.990 infections Maharashtra still remains the worst-hit state. After 198 new deaths registered on Friday, the death rate due to the pandemic rose to 8,376, according to a statement from the health services.

6. Assam has seen the 3rd fastest spike in the number of Guwahati cases, with almost 1,900 cases recorded in nine days alone. There are currently 9,799 cases in the north-east. Assam has taken a new model in Guwahati City for 10,000 COVID-19 tests per day. The new model, testing COVID-19 AG, is to be a swab test, said Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

More than 11,000 “Make In India” ventilators, of which 6,154 are delivered in hospitals all over the country, were produced and shipped, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said. “There are also 1.02 lakh oxygen cylinders in India supplied by the Health Ministry, and 72.293 oxygen cylinders have been delivered,” he said.
