Detergent company La Fiamma was founded in 1970 by owners, David Pesce and Leo Ferrante, son of the late, great Joe Ferrante. The brand name originates from the Italian word “fiamma”, meaning flame. It was chosen because it “emits a warm and welcoming glow,” or because of the La Fiamma’s innovative products – products that are inspired by cooking and flambéing (consuming raw meat on a flame).
